The first weeks on a supervised GLP pathway: expectations without dosing advice
Early-week expectations on a supervised GLP pathway: common sensations, when to call, and why visit instructions come first.

The first weeks of a supervised GLP pathway raise practical questions: what you might notice, when to call the clinic, and what a webpage is not allowed to decide for you. At Kairos Rejuvenation in Hagerstown, Maryland, those answers start with the written instructions from your visit. This article is educational only. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it is not a personal care plan.
People often describe an appetite change, earlier fullness, or smaller portions than usual. Nausea, constipation, or another stomach adjustment can show up as well, and the intensity varies from person to person. Hydration and protein-forward meals are supports clinicians commonly discuss. None of that is a dose, a schedule, or permission to change the plan your clinician wrote down.
Call the clinic when a side effect worries you, when you cannot eat or drink adequately, when timing with other medications is unclear, or when a missed dose or the written start instructions do not make sense. Use the patient portal or clinic channels for those questions. Severe abdominal pain, vomiting that will not stop, dehydration you cannot manage, chest pain, trouble breathing, or signs of an allergic reaction need emergency care. A website is not urgent care, and you should never change a dose from a page like this one.
Supervised care is not a ship-and-forget kit. Care is physician-led under Dr. Kristina Torrence, a board-certified Medical Doctor. Check-ins, and labs when indicated, keep the pathway tied to your history. We may recommend a plan, defer medication, or sequence lifestyle factors first. A social post or a mail-order offer does not start therapy.
Weight Loss Membership is for monthly check-ins and care coordination when you are enrolled. A compounded GLP, when one is prescribed, is billed separately and only when clinically appropriate. It is not the same product as a brand-name medicine such as Wegovy or Zepbound. Joining never guarantees a prescription or a specific outcome. Individual results vary.
Eligible consults and follow-ups may use telehealth in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, California, and Florida. Injections and many procedure steps stay in the Hagerstown clinic when that is how the care is delivered. After a visit, read the early-weeks guide, then the compounded GLP education page and the Weight Loss Membership page if you want the longer context. Book a complimentary consult to discuss what fits your history. Educational only — not medical advice. Plans are personalized after clinical evaluation; prescriptions are never guaranteed.
